Ekol TV Office area, a specific section of a media center project located in Istanbul, has been designed to reflect the institution's innovative vision in meeting the customized broadcasting technologies and infrastructure needs of the newly established channel. The space completely allocated to employees is planned as an open office space, including administrative offices and staff working areas, surrounded by integrated recreational areas to encourage social interaction and collaborative teamwork based on cooperation.
Entering the open office floor, a modern reception desk awaits, leading into a frame-like transition inspired by the traditional television form. This structural design element is metaphorically intended to highlight the entrance into the office spaces that serve as the core of production within a media center.
Beyond the reception area, a transparent wall offers a view into the open office space, maintaining an uninterrupted sense of volume and openness. To the right of the entrance is the corridor of managerial offices, accompanied by a spacious waiting area. This corridor is delineated from the open office area by semi-permeable furniture, facilitating the creation of semi-private spaces while preserving the overall openness of the office layout.
Among neutral materials like concrete and warm elements such as wood, strategically placed wall graphics in pastel blue and pastel yellow tones contribute to a balanced and dynamic ambiance.
The recreation area, featuring a small amphitheater, collaborative workspace, and coffee area, transforms into a communal space for employees, bordered by transparent partition walls and plants to provide acoustic insulation from the open offices.
